Date:

Design by Fire Blogger and Designer Andrei Herasimchuk has posted a new layout for the hand history sent to players upon request at most of the large online 토토사이트 sites. I think this is an improvement for Poker Players so I decided to ask a few other gaming webmasters I know who play poker a lot. I begged the Question : Andrei Herasimchuk has designed a clearer format for the hand history of the major online poker sites hand history on the article : hand history proposal for online poker sites(removed webpage) : do you agree his format is clearer and easier to read and decipher for the online poker player? I got a couple of replies.. ♣ I am Stephen Erickson, webmaster of Born To Bet and avid poker player. Born to Bet is dedicated to giving straight forward, honest answers and information about online gaming and offering a contrast to many of the current sites out there. It opened late last year and has slowly been growing since. I also would say I work by playing poker. I put in well over 40 hours a week at the money tables. I play mainly fixed limit games but also some no limit games and a few sit and gos as well to keep things interesting. ♣ I think it is much easier to read and less confusing than the old standard for hand histories. However, I very rarely look at the actual emails I request. I, like many players who play a lot of online poker, bought a program which analyses the hands for me. I request the hands and load them into the program. Then I can replay hands or entire sessions, see how much money I win with different hands, etc. So, one of my main concerns is that if you change the way hand histories are shown, these programs must still be able to read them properly and import them into the stats. I think the majority of players who download hand histories do the same and it is only occasionally that someone downloads one hand to look at and see what happened. So it concerns me whether any change would be a smooth transition. Overall, I’d say that it is easier to read but the most important thing to me is that I can import the hands easily and quickly so I can look at hundreds or thousands of hands at one time, not just one. So, if it can be done without affecting that, I’d say it’s a great idea. But, if it would take upgrades and changes to the programs, I’m not sure that it is worth the effort. ♣ ♠ ♠ I’m Ellen Royston-Ing, my husband Dean and I have over 30 websites, 7 of which are strictly poker oriented. One of our newest and most sucessful sites is Poker Tournaments Online where we have a live search engine for the most popular online poker rooms. It updates every 5 minutes and lets you know how long ’til each tournament. I have been a poker player for most of my life. I’ve played in the Women’s WSOP and several big tournaments. Placing in the money with many. I now spend most of my poker time online, since moving to Australia with not much land based action around. ♠ ♠ There is no doubt that the hand history proposal for the online poker rooms would benefit a lot of poker players. It is much easier to read, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve received one and it took ages to try to figure out! Just spacing out each play (ie. the flop, turn, river etc.) makes it easier to read, and needless to say much quicker. I don’t use the hand history too often, but when I do, it would be nice to scan through it and find what I’m looking for fairly quick. I’m not real sure if the poker rooms would be willing to put the time in to change it a bit, although I do think it’s a great idea. ♠ ♠ It’s not quite unanimous. I will be gathering more thoughts on this and want your comments. See if we can’t help get this ball rolling.
